Plentific recognised as a finalist at the UK Business Awards 2019.
We’re being recognised for our transformative work in housing, technology and property management.
We’re very happy to share that we’ve been shortlisted for the UK Business Awards 2019 (UKBA). The UKBA is dedicated to rewarding individuals and organisations who have demonstrated exceptional business performance and are shaping the future of business.
This is a big honour for us as our award category recognises business change or transformation across all industries - not just housing and PropTech.
The list of other nominees in our category includes RDB Star Rating, EDAM Group, Castle Water, Matthew Pincus and Vizolutiuon in partnership with HSBC
To be a finalist amidst this diverse list of great change-makers and future leaders is exciting. It highlights that our desire to build better communities, using our technology, is resonating across industries and disciplines.
Here's how it all happened:
In February of 2017, we started a revolutionary project with Notting Hill Housing, now Notting Hill Genesis (NHG), to transform customer experience for tenants, process for NHG and radically develop our product with an onboarding process across the industry.
The results of this project have not only delivered organisational change, but radically changed the way NHG works; Our core product has established a new benchmark in the housing sector. Its effects have been far-reaching - for the end-customer, for two organisations, an industry and an underserved set of customers - social housing tenants.
Being a finalist for the UK Business Awards 2019 highlights the incredible flexibility of our platform and how rapidly it has grown to accommodate the repair and maintenance needs of landlords and developers.
It showcases how far we have come since our humble beginnings in 2013 - to now working with the biggest and most significant housing providers, including NHG, Hammersmith & Fulham Council and Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing (MTVH).
In total, Plentific covers around 100,000 properties across the public and private sectors. And we are grateful for how the community and the UK Business Awards have embraced us.
Our co-founder Cem, had this to say in response to being shortlisted:
Being recognised for work that is devoted to building communities is what drives us. We’re committed to cutting costs, reducing repair times and growing local trades businesses all in the name of making tenants of social housing happier, safer and empowered.”
The award ceremony takes place on the 8th of November, in London.
The UKBA enables organisations who enter to promote professional improvement, learning, and personal development. It now returns for its fourth year, with 18 categories across B2B and B2C contexts, recognising both SMEs and large organisations for their inspiring business innovations.

It has already been quite an eventful year for us. Earlier in 2019, at the prestigious UK Housing Awards, Plentific nabbed the coveted ‘Professional Services Partner Award’ for our pioneering work with 64,000 properties in NHG’s housing portfolio.
It was also the same month we were christened the Uber of R&M by Inside Housing magazine. Check out the article here.
