The hugely anticipated event, Housing 2023, was a huge success for attendees and encompassed thought leadership, networking and cutting-edge technology.

The Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) has hosted Europe’s largest housing festival in the United Kingdom for 70 years, providing a platform for key industry stakeholders to come together to discuss, debate, partner, learn and improve the lives of the people we house.

This year, Housing took over the esteemed Manchester Central Conference Centre. After many months of preparation, the Plentific team were ready to take flight through a jam-packed 3-day schedule. We had much to look forward to - the Women in Housing Awards where we were nominated for ‘Best Career Development Initiative’ for our Women’s Trade Network, our best and most modern booth ever on the trade show floor, two thought leadership speaking sessions and we hosted a VIP soiree!

We didn’t want you to miss out on any of the action, so here’s a recap of our triumph at Housing 2023!

A night celebrating Women in Housing

We kicked off Housing 2023 with a bang, at the annual Women in Housing & Housing Hero Awards evening organised by Inside Housing. The evening was led by a renowned British comedian who had us roaring with laughter, making the evening most memorable. It was fantastic to celebrate leaders, innovators and changemakers, whilst championing the successes of women and sharing learnings from teams and individuals across the sector. 

We were honoured to be shortlisted for ‘Best Career Development Initiative’ for our Women’s Trade Network, which highlighted our ongoing efforts to bridge the gender gap in the skilled labour industry by offering opportunities such as training courses, mentorship and employment. Congratulations to all finalists and the category winners Centre for Accessible Environments.

State-of-the-art trade show floor: Welcome to booth E24

Over 9000 attendees from all corners of the industry were boasting about the modern and innovative booth designs, making each customer journey unique and tailored. We were proud to be one of them, incorporating our new global branding to provide an exceptional experience for our customers and transport them into ‘The World of Now’.

Our 6x9 metre booth was hard to miss with its large green archway, open layout, interactive demo stations and plenty of areas to stop and chat with our Plentific experts! Attendees were captivated by our real-time property solutions which encompassed four main pillars, including:

• Resident engagement solutions
• Automated workflow orchestration
• Dynamic verified contractor marketplace
• Compliance adherence

Our coffee stand provided a central location to host discussions and demos whilst indulging in a much-needed caffeine break. Our fantastic barista doubled as a bartender by providing delicious espresso martinis to wind down the day and enjoy whilst mingling with industry leaders and fellow attendees. We must say, they were quite the hit!

Sharing knowledge & expertise: Thought leadership speaking sessions

Housing provided a jam-packed schedule with over 512 speakers and hundreds of speaking sessions filled with inspiring, insightful and eye-opening thought leaders. Our very own Co-founder and CEO, Cem Savas, was joined by esteemed panel guests to discuss reputation, trust and responding to challenges within the sector. They deliberated about the core purpose of the housing sector, how to better represent those we serve, and how we can continue to deliver the best outcomes for tenants and residents.

We also had the pleasure of watching Plentific Strategic Account Director and Chair of the Women In Social Housing (WISH), Lauren Chivers, host a panel discussion about health and housing, and working in partnership to tackle inequalities.

Raising a glass for the sector: Plentific’s VIP Soiree 

We finished Housing 2023 on a high note by hosting a VIP soiree at the infamous Albert’s Schloss in Manchester Central. We let our hair down and enjoyed an evening of mingling, dancing and a lot of laughter with fellow leaders and industry partners. We indulged in some fantastic local craft beer and summer cocktails, whilst picking at a gorgeous spread of German canapes. The event was certainly overflowing, however, we made the most of making new connections and celebrating each other's achievements.

Another Housing 2023 comes to an end: That’s a wrap!
