Join one of our information sessions

Whether you're already qualified or are just thinking about a career in trade, we have a session for you. For unqualified participants, we'll provide insight into the opportunities available for women in trade and information about training and employment. For those qualified, you will find out more about self-employment and how to start your own business, as well as the support we offer.

Once you have decided a career in trade or self-employment is the right path for you, we'll connect you to our training provider to start your journey.

We have partnered with national training and education specialist, Learning Curve Group to provide our training courses. 

Multi-skills for construction Level One.

The course

Multi-Skills provides the broad skills required to succeed in a career in trade. It provides insight into a range of trades with an opportunity to try each one and decide which trade you want to focus on for further education once the course ends.

Course length

Six weeks full-time

10 weeks part-time

Skills learnt

Plumbing, bricklaying, plastering, tiling, carpentry, painting and decorating, maths for construction, health and safety, and your CSCS card.

Next steps.

Further training

Once you complete your multi-skills for construction level one, Learning Curve Group will work with you to decide which area you would like to focus on and advise on further training opportunities. 

Apprenticeships and traineeships

We can support you in applying for apprenticeships or traineeships to complete your training on the job either through the Women's Trade Network partners or within the wider industry. 


Our team is here to support you in deciding which route is best for you, as well as advise on mentorship and employment opportunities.
