Plentific Expands Platform to Appointed Contractors.
Housing providers are now able to manage existing relationships within Plentific's property management platform
Leading European property technology platform, Plentific, will now allow landlords to manage existing contractor relationships within its property maintenance and compliance platform. The new ‘Appointed Contractor’ feature expands Plentific’s service offering and means housing providers can choose to assign work orders to their preferred contractors, their own workforce or from Plentific’s marketplace of approved contractors, all from the same screen. This additional feature provides landlords with far greater flexibility to manage how repairs and compliance work is delivered and scale-up resource where required, particularly critical in the current COVID-19 environment when staffing levels are lower than usual, but demand remains high.
Many housing providers have established relationships with contractors who carry out required repairs and voids work, as well as compliance checks on their properties. However, multiple systems are used to engage with each contractor and the lack of a single source of truth means any intelligent or actionable data is lost. There are also occurrences where preferred suppliers or internal teams are unable to undertake the work or where single service provider provisioning is needed, such as lift servicing. Plentific customers now have greater flexibility and can assign work orders based on their needs, whether that is to their existing suppliers, Direct Labor Organisation (DLO) or source contractors through its marketplace. This ensures all repairs history and compliance data is auditable and available within one solution.
‘Appointed Contractor’ allows housing providers to easily configure rules determining when a job should be assigned to a preferred contractor and whether it’s applicable to only standard, responsive work or also to emergency work orders. Where required, landlords are able to send work orders to the Plentific marketplace, ensuring the work is always completed as quickly as possible. All work orders will be managed through a single dashboard, bringing together compliance, repairs and voids works data in one place, no matter the delivery method. With a single source of data, housing providers will have greater insight into the repairs, compliance and voids needs of their entire estate, ultimately leading to greater operational efficiencies and lower costs.
“Plentific was created to make housing work better for everyone. While our marketplace has allowed social housing providers, local authorities, lettings agents, and property managers to expand their supply chain, we recognised that many will also need to manage their existing relationships within our platform. Not only does a more flexible approach provide far deeper insight into performance, but it will also increase resident satisfaction by ensuring the same experience across all suppliers. As resident experience increasingly drives the agenda for landlords, providing solutions that improve processes and unifies their experience has never been more important.”
Cem Savas, CEO and Co-Founder, Plentific
Available immediately, Plentific customers are able to invite their preferred contractors to the platform and, once verified, begin assigning work orders to existing SLA contractors, as well as the marketplace and their DLO. The expansion of Plentific’s platform-as-a-service solution will provide housing providers with a single view of all work required and offer greater insight into the performance of their preferred contractors, problem assets and compliance needs, providing all the data they need to streamline processes
