Modern Slavery Statement
Made pursuant to the principles of section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015
Last updated: June 2026.
Our commitment
Plentific is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in our operations and our supply chain. Our turnover falls below the £36 million threshold at which an annual statement is required under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015; we publish this statement voluntarily to set out the steps we take.
Our business and supply chain
Plentific is a UK‑headquartered property technology business. We provide a cloud‑based platform and a marketplace of verified trade contractors that help social landlords, housing associations, property managers and local authorities manage repairs, maintenance and safety compliance. We employ a team of around 130 people across the UK and international offices, all engaged on formal employment or contractor agreements. Our supply chain consists mainly of trade contractors who deliver work through our marketplace, cloud‑infrastructure and software providers, and professional‑services firms.
Policies
Our approach is supported by a Modern Slavery policy, a Code of Conduct and a Whistleblowing policy, the last of which allows concerns to be raised confidentially. We comply with applicable employment law in each country in which we operate, pay at least the relevant statutory minimum or living wage, and do not use zero‑hours contracts.
Due diligence and risk
As a software business, we consider the risk of modern slavery within our own operations to be low, with greater potential exposure in our contractor marketplace and wider supply chain. Contractors are vetted before they can accept work — including identity and business verification, insurance checks and relevant trade certifications — and their performance is monitored on an ongoing basis. We are developing a Supplier Code of Conduct that sets out our expectations on labour standards, fair pay and ethical conduct for material suppliers.
Awareness and review
Our policies are available to all employees, who are encouraged to report any concern about modern slavery or human trafficking through the channels above. We will keep these measures under review and report on our progress in future statements.
